Phase 1 – Skill building & exploration

Learn‑a‑thon is the first phase of #75HER, focused on building core skills, confidence, and community. During this phase, builders explore tracks, try new tools, and create small artifacts that can grow into Idea‑thon and Hackathon projects.

What happens in the Learn‑a‑thon

The Learn‑a‑thon combines live and async learning:

• Live workshops and talks across tracks (AI/ML, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cybersecurity, Design/Product, Career & Leadership).
• Hands‑on practice in short, focused activities—enough to try something real without needing a full project yet.
• Community touchpoints (Discord, office hours, networking) to help builders find collaborators and mentors.

Participation is strongly encouraged but flexible: you can attend live, watch recordings, or mix both, depending on timezone and schedule.

What success looks like

By the end of the Learn‑a‑thon, a successful builder will typically:

• Have attended or watched at least one workshop in a chosen track.
• Have created at least one small artifact (repo, notebook, AR/VR scene, slide, outline, ethics statement) they can build on in later phases.
• Report higher confidence in at least one skill area.
